Overview
Annual auditions for the GMCYO season are held on the last Sunday of August at Global Mission Church.

Requirements
Each candidate is to prepare the scale requirements listed below, as well as 3-5 minutes of a solo piece or etude of their choice that best demonstrates their abilities. Additionally, a short sight reading excerpt will be provided during the audition.
- All scales and arpeggios are to be memorized. Please note that arpeggios are for strings only.
- All scales are to be played ascending and descending, with an even and smooth style sixteenth note pattern at quarter note = 72 for winds, brass and percussion.
- Strings should play 2-3 octave scales as marked below, slurred three notes per bow at quarter = 72
